Oats- Oats are loaded with fiber and so are ideal food for healthy heart and bowels but they also contain a high concentration of other essential nutrients like iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids. They are also known as polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). It is good for maintaining hair growth, normal skin and development. Since this essential ingredient is only obtained through the diet. So, you must have a bowl of oatmeal as your breakfast option every few days in a week.

Green Peas- Green peas don’t have any specific vitamin or mineral and are not rich in antioxidant but it have a balanced amount of minerals and Vitamins like zinc, iron and Vitamin B and all these are essential for healthy hair.

Shrimp- One should avoid taking excess amount of red meat so finding an appropriate substitute for proteins might be a bit difficult for people who are on the way of muscle building. You can then opt for the sea food like shrimp. It has zinc, iron and Vitamin B12 in good amount which can prove nourishing food for wonderful hair.

Low Fat Dairy Products- Low fat dairy foods like yogurt and skim milk are great source of calcium which is a mineral essential for hair growth. It also has two high quality proteins like whey and casein proteins. So, you must have a cup of yogurt or cottage cheese in your diet. You can also have them as your snack option as it is wonderful option to prevent hair loss. You can also stir in a few tablespoons of flaxseed or walnuts for your required dose of omega 3 fatty acids and zinc.

Eggs- Eggs can be your best friend if you want to have healthy problem free hair. Egg is loaded with Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids. Deficiency in these particulars may result in hair loss or poor quality of hair. It is also great source of Vitamin B7 which fights with hair loss.
