5 Effective Home Remedies With Amla For Hair





Indian Gooseberry, commonly known as Amla, also called the Indian Gooseberry, has numerous medicinal properties which can make your hair longer, stronger and gorgeous.  Amla and Lemon

This remedy is very good for dandruff treatment. It is an effective remedy for Oily Hair and keeps the scalp clean and dirt-free.

Ingredients

2 tablespoon Amla juice
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 tablespoon water

Procedure

1. If you don’t want to use ready-made amla juice than you can deseed and then blend few amla pieces with water, in a blender.
2. After which using a strainer, strain out small sediments in the juice.
3. Mix the amla juice and lemon juice together with water in a bowl.
4. Massage it lightly for 5 minutes on your scalp.
5. Leave it overnight and then wash your hair with shampoo on the next day

Caution

Do not rub it hard on your scalp since it has a lemon. Lemon is a very strong natural bleaching agent which can even lighten your hair color.

Amla and Curry Leaves
This remedy reduces hair breakage and protects your hair color. It also is very good for hair growth and repairs hair damage.

Ingredients
4 Dried amla pieces
1 curry leaf
1 tablespoon Coconut oil

Procedure
1. Clean the curry leaf and add it in coconut oil.
2. Take some dried amla pieces (without seeds) and add them too in the oil.
3. Heat the mixture in medium flame till all the green curry leaf turns brown.
4. After this, strain the sediments out of the mixture and apply the oil on your hair.
5. After keeping it for 30 minutes, wash it off with a mild shampoo.

 Amla and Henna

This remedy enhances your hair color, increases hair growth, nourishes your hair and reduces hair fall.

Ingredients

2 tablespoon amla powder
1 tablespoon Henna powder
2 tablespoon water

Procedure

1. Mix all the ingredients well in a bowl and make it a thick paste.
2. Apply it evenly on your hair.
3. Leave the mixture on your hair around 2 or 3 hours and then wash it with a mild shampoo.

Amla with Egg

Makes your hair silky, nourishes it, helps in hair growth and makes it softer.

Ingredients

2 tablespoon amla powder
1 egg

Procedure

1. Whisk the egg and amla powder without any lumps and air bubbles in a bowl. Whisk it till you see the froth in the mixture.
2. Apply the pack and wait for around 2 hours.
3. Wash your hair with shampoo and if you still are not able to get rid of the smell than wash your hair with 1 cup of lemon juice added to a half cup of water.

Amla with Basil

This remedy reduces hair fall, premature hair greying and dandruff.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon basil paste
2 tablespoon amla powder
1 tablespoon water

Procedure

1. Take 10-12 leaves of basil and make it a thick paste in a grinder.
2. Mix the basil paste, amla powder and water in a bowl and make it a paste (not syrup).
3. Apply it on your scalp and massage it for 5 minutes.
4. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and then wash it with water.
